Environmental Cleaning in the Perioperative Setting

This presentation will cover AORN's current recommended practices for environmental cleaning and disinfection in the surgical practice setting. These recommendations are intended as achievable guidelines which can be adapted. Careful application of these recommended practices should result in a clean environment for surgical patients and minimize the exposure risk for health care personnel and patients to potentially infectious microorganisms.
