The Doctor is In: Technology Meets Psychology in Your Organization

As technologists in our organizations, it seems like we often end up serving as armchair psychologists for others in the organization. People have varied reactions to technology – and to technology change – and often turn to the technologist in their organizations for psychological support, in addition to tech support. Technologists can also benefit from understanding psychology – both individual and organizational – when approaching tech initiatives.

This session will explore some psychology principles and how to apply them to technology changes and other tech-related initiatives to help the success of those initiatives.
