The strategy of branding, which is the primary method of creating a positive association to the consumer, will be explored in how it can be used by the REALTOR® in creating a positive and indelible message about the REALTOR®. This program will explore the attitudes of large companies about branding with the “Ten Truths”; explore the steps in self-branding, brand-naming principles that the REALTOR® can apply to create an positive identity about themselves, and ten ways to maximize the REALTOR’s® database in establishing this self-brand. The program will also explore the six ways that the real estate markets establish opportunities for branding including how the current “New Reality” has done this.

This program will explore, in depth, how branding has been such an effective strategy for a multitude of companies for the last 100 plus years by presenting the “10 Truths About Branding” and how they can apply to real estate.

After setting this stage, the program will examine the “9 Key Differences” between a “product” and a “brand” and the need to have an emotional connection by the consumer to the “brand”.

We will then explore the “10 Self-Branding Action Steps” and show the REALTOR® how these steps can be integrated into their marketing plan in this “New Reality”. After this, we will provide the “10 Brand-Naming” principles and show examples where companies have made them work well and others where they didn’t make them work so well.
Finally we show the REALTOR® ten ways to maximize their database to establish their positive self-identity with this group and utilize it to expand and/or refine their database. We will then show them “The Six Rules” on how real estate markets create opportunities to create and change brand identities.
