The changes in the Legal Services Act will see the introduction of the first Alternative Business Structures come 2011. Additionally, the tumultuous economy of the past 18 months has dealt a valuable lesson to partners across the legal sector to secure the long-term stability and fund the long-term development of their firm. With another wave of change in the legal profession approaching, how can law firms prepare themselves financially and structurally, as well as ensure that they can remain competitive? One option that is gaining increasing momentum is seeking external capital.
