The U.S. Food and Drug Administration approved 26 first-of-a-kind medicines in 2009, more than in any of the prior four years. This knowledge-based program will review the list of FDA approved drugs and give health care providers an update on their mechanisms of action, significant side effects and drug interactions and potential role in therapy.
