It's all Greek to Me-Translating the Benefits of Lipid Lowering Therapy to your Patients

It is estimated that 50% of patients who start on cholesterol lowering medications discontinue them within 6 months! This program will give you practical information on how to translate the benefits and the risks of cholesterol lowering interventions (nonpharmacologic and pharmacologic) to patients to improve adherence and persistence. Specific ways pharmacists can improve the treatment of lipid disorders will be discussed.
Nursing Educational Objectives:
